Artist Statement
I paint with fabric and thread to create representational landscapes of mountains and trees; abstract landscapes, and geometric studies of color and shape.
My art quilts have been in numerous invitational shows and juried into regional, national, and international fiber art exhibits, including Visions, Sacred Threads, and Art Quilt Elements. My art has also been exhibited in many fine art shows and can be found in private collections throughout the United States. My work has been published in Machine Quilting Unlimited and featured in an Associated Press syndicated newspaper article. I am a former board member of SAQA, and currently serve as the coordinator for Juried Artist Members of SAQA.
I retired from the practice of law in November, 2017 and now devote my time to art quilting. However, throughout my long successful legal career, I've never been far from a sewing machine.
