Turbulence

We can’t see wind, but we can feel it. This piece shows my visual interpretation of the chaotic and capricious changes in air pressure and wind velocity when there is turbulent air flow. I cut and draped different textures and shades of sky-colored fabric to mimic the “every-which- way” feel of wind buffeting my body when I’m caught outside in a windstorm.
