Artist Statement
My work has been exhibited internationally, won awards, been published in books and magazines, and is in the collections of two museums. The exhibitions include Quilt National, Quilts=Art=Quilts, and SAQA's "Textile Posters". The human figure and color studies have been my main subjects.
I have a BFA in painting and worked as a draftsperson, an administrator, and a bookkeeper. I draw, sew, crochet, do embroidery, tap dance, have started to paint again, and recently learned how to weave.
