Linda Waddle

Linda turned to quilting and fabric dyeing as her creative outlet twenty-some years ago when her two children asked her not to sew for them anymore. Since then she has transitioned from traditional pieced quilts to wholecloth (without any piecing), multi-technique art quilts incorporating dye painting, stenciling, stamping, screen printing, rusting, and other methods that will achieve the result she seeks. Her goal is to challenge herself in the process and to ultimately engage the viewer by creating a pleasing yet complex and intriguing piece.

Her work has been exhibited at Houston International Quilt Festival, Visions Art Museum, Sacred Threads, Quilts=Art=Quilts, and various galleries in Northern California and Nevada.
