Wattle Dancing

Wattle branches laden with flower dance in the breeze, sending their golden pollen into the blue Australian sky. The actual plant foliage and blossom is used for the printing. Made in 2014, I feel this quilt displays my journey as a quilt artist, as I began with white fabric that was dyed and sun printed, further printed with Australian plants then machine free motion quilted.
