Water in Tenerife

Not long ago I lost my best friend Rita who was a world traveler and an excellent photographer. I made many quilts following her photos of water. As a physical substance water has no shape and no color, but in nature everything changes depending on light and on photographers ability to see and to catch those changes.

This quilt is dedicated to my late friend, it is my way of healing, of finding the way of living without her, but still having her in my heart and my thoughts.
