Understory

We land dwellers only glimpse a very small portion of the complex life in our planet’s oceans. Below the surface, kelp forests feed and shelter a huge diversity of sea creatures—more than any other ocean community. They also have an amazing capacity to capture carbon, which means large and healthy kelp forests can help us in our battle to reverse climate change.
