Two Drifters

This piece was inspired by the song “Moon River” from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It represents the author’s nostalgic childhood view of the future: two drifters wandering through the enchanting river of life, excited to see what’s waiting for them “round the bend.” The river of life with its ups and downs is pictured as continuously changing colors, from bright ones, to deep black, and back to bright.
