Tipping Point

I started this piece by creating a tripod base. As the shape began to develop through constant manipulation to make it stand, I exaggerated the form so that it leaned toward
a fourth point. It was important that the fourth point, or leg, remained suspended, creating a vision of stretched movement as if the fourth leg is prepared to touch the surface. I love working with color and unique forms.
