Indigo Leaves

This piece was inspired by a class I took that taught me to use indigo dye. The dyed fabrics were overdyed with indigo. At this point I was still teaching and piecing this quilt and putting it together was done on weekends.It was the first piece I submitted to a Contemporary Quilt show called"Mood Indigo" and it was accepted and used for the postcard.
