Homage to Piet (Mondrian)

From a corner hotel room in New York City, I view noisy streams of cars that flood through intersections until they are abruptly halted by traffic signals. Then traffic from the other direction bolts—honking and revving until their turn ends. Ebbing and flowing through the streets of the city day and night, they are reminiscent of Piet Mondrian’s painting 'Broadway Boogie Woogie'.
