Hanbok Girls

My inspiration for this piece was a photograph taken by my son which showed his wife and young daughter at a family wedding in Central Park in New York City. The scene contrasts the gorgeous colors of the female figures dressed in their Hanboks, their Korean ceremonial dresses, with the spectacular natural beauty of the greenery in the park. This poignant moment also captured the loving bond between the mother and daughter.
