SAQA Calls for Entry

One of the many benefits of membership is being eligible to enter SAQA exhibitions that travel all over the world. Our variety of shows--from the trunk show, regional exhibitions, quilt venues and art venues--is designed to satisfy the needs of members at all levels of career development.

We also offer a Virtual Gallery program, offering exhibitions crafted exclusively for the online viewer. Plus, there are many other opportunities to share your artwork with the world. Scroll down to view them all!

In our daily lives we are surrounded by fabric. Many of these fabrics are mass-produced and bypass the more traditional ways of working with cloth. Old world handicrafts, such as weaving, hand-dyeing and hand embroidery are being lost.

We're seeking proposals from fiber artists who would like to present at one of SAQA's 2025 Textile Talks. On average, Textile Talks are attended live by 500 people and are viewed on YouTube by 1,700 people.

SAQA has a very robust regional exhibition program which expands the variety of exhibition opportunities available for our members from juried shows to traveling trunk shows.
