Back At It

Facing the challenges of modern life, overwhelmed with professional responsibilities, as well as personal, intimate, and familial relationships, the burden of expectation is ever present. As we age, our memories expand with new experiences, both positive and negative, saved for future reflection. At times, there is no other option, but to turn away -- from a time, a place, or a person truly loved. Some will remain etched forever, like a tattoo, in my brain, on my body, and in my heart.
