As a former cell and molecular biologist, I bring a unique perspective to my art quilting. In many cases, my artwork appears magnified and somewhat distorted as if viewed through the back aperture of an imaginary lens. To me, these images look like small, microscopic structures or something growing on a Petri dish. To you, they may appear as a collection of distant planets or faraway stars, as seen through a telescopic lens.
