Anxieties #9: Collision Course

It often feels that we are on a collision course with disaster: climate disasters, political upheaval, over consumption. We run in circles, trapped on a dangerous track, unable to slow down or change course. “Collision Course” is a visual expression of this anxiety. Intense color, jagged diagonal lines, complex stitching, and the heavy grid combine to express the fear of being trapped in a speeding car, moving too fast, out of control, with no way out.
