Still Life In Indigo, Fall Hollyhock

My continuing interest in the the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi leads me to always find beauty in those things that are decaying, or in the process of being transformed by natural processes. This hollyhock leaf is now more lace than leaf and that has only enhanced its beauty.
