The Stars at Night Shine Big and Bright Deep in the Heart of Texas

I have lived in the Heart of Texas for 35 years. City lights now make stargazing less big and bright, so making them shine in a kaleidoscope of colors on silk is designed to honor the area in which I live. Texas landscape truly has it all, from the prairies, to the mountains, to the desert and the seashore. By using the colors and elements of this rich landscape in a small piece, I share a bit of the place I call home.
