Sidewalks & Pathways

I love bright colors mixed with black and white. Improvisational piecing is my favorite technique. Sidewalks & Pathways combines both. When I begin a new piece, I never know quite where it will lead. While garden paths and walking trails were my initial inspiration, serendipity played a role too. Finding the bias strips with fusible web already attached added the finishing touch. After all, we can't always stay on the straight and narrow.
