Pod Cast Plaid

I used wool plaid from a skirt—a very recognizable pattern with unique hand-dyed wool yarn, which to me looked like pods strung together. I just went for it, spreading each pod out to a wider shape and needle felting into the plaid. I wondered, if these were real seed pods, what would they grow into if planted?
