Old School Roller Baby

I am forever intrigued with vintage relics from my childhood and often portray them in my art. I love how visual images can trigger nostalgic memories. Some things, however, are best left physically in the past. I'm afraid if I were to strap on roller babies these days, I'd end up on my tush in a matter of seconds! I'd much prefer to just remember the days when I skated around the dark indoor rink to the twirling sparkle emanating from a disco ball, or in the great outdoors at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, NY under the sparkle of the sun.
