Morwenna

Long before Marvel Comics' Aquaman, legend had it that young Saint Morwenna of Cornwall used the shiny stone she kept behind her ear to persuade water to spring forth from the dry ground. With her ornate walking stick, she climbed the highest cliffs with ease and asked the sea to calm and return the seafarers safely.
