Masala-Haru

This quilt is inspired by a photo I took in Kathmandu in 2014. Its title means "spices" in Nepali. I chose it to evoke the city and the country, but also to suggest the vibrant colors and intense scents of the scene, as well as to bring me back to the sounds of it. Read the title out loud!
