SAQA Oregon is a very active region with approximately 195 members, two co-representatives and three local connections - Portland, Central Oregon and Valley South. We have a biannual regional juried exhibit, a biannual regional conference, local challenge quilt exhibits, a biannual retreat and occasionally a non-juried showcase exhibit.
Local connection meetings give us the opportunity to meet with fellow artistic members. Meetings can include lectures, featured members showing their artwork, hands on presentations and always a show and tell. They also can include lunch or a picnic, holiday potluck, a field trip to local museums or even a vineyard.
Our website contains lots of information about our current events and a gallery of members artwork. We have a SAQA Facebook page and each local connection has their own Facebook page or email contact list.
