SAQA Atlantic Canada represents art quilters of all kinds from the Atlantic Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. Our membership is relatively small in number but largely engaged with a wide spectrum of artists: from the new art quilter, and up-and-coming talent to the professional artist and some of Canada’s finest quilters.
Together these artists have created a diverse, dynamic, and engaged community of fine art quilters that strives to support our members in as many ways as possible. Our active group boasts a yearly regional conference, bi-annual juried exhibitions, and a traveling trunk show. Our online activities help us stay connected throughout the year with regular show-and-tell sessions, critique sessions, and our new Speakers Series while our blog and private Facebook page keep us up to date with all that is happening in our region.
