SAQA Journal 2024 Vol. 34 No. 4

The SAQA Journal Gallery—our first exhibition in print—premieres in the final issue of 2024. Forty pieces were selected by a juror panel made up of Nancy Bavor, Alice Beasley, and Linda Colsh. Each artwork is beautiful. Together they form a vibrant portrait of our art form. 

In the editorial pages, we welcome two new writers, Luana Rubin and D Wood. Their stories explore the art quilt itself with articles on surface design and how art quilts should be viewed by everyone—including the artists who make them. Diane Howell completes the editorial package with an overview of surface design techniques currently being used by our members.
