Sightlines

Sightlines is a solo exhibition by Sarah Entsminger. It includes work that is primarily textile in nature, tinted monoprints, and collages. Mixed media textile work allows the use of a wide variety of materials and techniques to illustrate the essential details of a landscape in a more complex fashion than could be done using a single media. A horizon line has long been the focus of Sarah's artwork and allows her to create a sense of place that illustrates memories or places in the imagination. Her work uses the line to focus a viewer’s attention on what she wants to emphasize in a landscape.
