The Layered Surface: Fusions, Transparencies, and Photos with Ellen M. Blalock

Let’s share our stories in cloth! This 3-day class explores techniques of sharing one’s stories through fiber art, using words, photos, appliqué, and more. We will explore several methods of using photographs and layering sheer fabrics and non-woven materials. We will experiment with drawing, painting, and stitching on images infused into cloth and learn how to incorporate them into our fiber pieces.
