In 2021, Greg Climer completed an animation project using quilts for each frame of a short video. We'll delve into the creative process and learn what led to this artwork. Climer will focus on the technical aspects of creating the piece and the impact that a single idea can have on an artist's trajectory.
Textile Talks features weekly presentations and panel discussions from the International Quilt Museum, Quilt Alliance, Studio Art Quilt Associates, and Surface Design Association. The programs are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.
