The Earth Speaks

Dorothy Raymond has spent her life in love with the Western landscape, but it was her husband who introduced her to the beauty of the oceans. "I want to evoke a sense of recognition, a feeling of 'yes, I have been there.'  Textiles and thread are the means I use to better understand and narrate the natural landscape of Colorado and the boundary between the ocean and the land."
