Animal Artistry through Appliqué with David Taylor

In this workshop, students will learn the finer points of David Taylor’s animal quilts that are adapted from photographs. Topics include his unique pattern drawing method, a layered freezer paper, turned-edge appliqué technique, background ideas, construction, and quilting. A strong emphasis is placed on fabric selection and using those fabrics wisely.
