SAQA NJ + NY, SAQA PA, and SAQA CT are joining forces to showcase the impressive creativity and diverse approaches that our members take in creating quilt art. Our goal is to create a collection that highlights different elements of the art quilt form and introduces our artists to the region. The 2025 Design Showcase will be displayed in regional venues (space permitting) and subdivided into ‘Trunk Shows’ for our regions.
In creating your piece, consider what makes your art special, what gives your style its personal touch. For each category, you will be asked to choose the item that is most impactful in conveying your idea. The categories include Approach, Materials, Construction, Surface, and Genre. See below for more details. There is no thematic requirement.
Members are limited to one submission each. You will have the option of donating your piece to the SAQA Auction in the fall of 2027.
