The SAQA Special Events Committee is looking for Lightning Talk speakers to share their work, ideas, and inspirations at the 2022 Virtual Conference - Bridging the Gulf: From Fabric to Fine Art.
This call is now open to ALL members!
Lightning Talks are always a highlight of the conference and attendees always enjoy hearing about your passion and work. Each speaker creates a presentation of 20 slides and speaks about each slide for 20 seconds resulting in a fast-paced informative talk that is six minutes and 40 seconds long.
Do you have a story to tell? How does the world impact your art? Or maybe the other way around? Lightning Talks are a wonderful way to share your thoughts visually and verbally - tell a short story!
If you are interested in being a Lightning Talk presenter, complete the proposal form by February 28, 2022. Presenters will need to have all images or slides ready by March 31, 2022.
