Artist Statement
I was honored to serve as president of SAQA from 2013-2016. I was also a member of the committee that crafted SAQA's definition of the art quilt.
As a juried artist, I am part of the creative duo Pixeladies. We make art out of words. If you were to ask me why I use fabric and thread, I would have to say because of their haptic nature.
