Zeitgeist: Summer 2023

Zeitgeist: Summer 2023 embodies the time, place, and frame of mind with which it was created. This exact quilt could not have been made in any previous time or place, nor could it ever be replicated in the future. It is a permanent record of my world in the summer of 2023. Using the colors of the year—Kona’s “Crush” (neon red), and Pantone’s “Viva Magenta”—the quilt’s entire color palette conjures up feelings of summer and playful, fun-filled adventures. This is my first improv quilt and creating it was also a playful fun-filled adventure!
