Writing the Next Word

Creating a safe harbor is a gift that women are able to give to one another. I am deeply grateful for the counsel of strong women who have provided a landing place for me when my journey required it. Shelter from the storm need not be a place; it can be a person. Now, the group of women in my writing group provide me weekly refuge. I am learning again the strength that can be found when women depend on each other.
