The sea is a strong force, and when it meets the shore the water ripples, light sparkles and waves crash against the rocks. In this case I made the rocks volcanic, like those in Hawaii and other islands, that have emerged from the sea as volcanoes.
Materials
Hand dyed cottons, velvet, with some acrylic paint to make the water churn and sparkle around the rocks.
