Wedges is an adventure into improv piecing and designing. The pandemic gave me an opportunity to seek out teachers that were improv quilters and take classes in the quiet of my home studio. I am a visual learner so the format was perfect for me. The variety of information gathered allowed me to take my art in a different direction. I entered each class with the attitude of experimentation allowing me the freedom to leave with the information that spoke to me on that day. Even though the pandemic has been a stressful time it has allowed my art to bloom. This is the second in a series of wedge improv quilts.
