Warrior is the latest in my series of contemporary portraits. The black and white closed cropped image of a young woman is set against a wall of graffiti. In recent months the war against women, particularly young women; is escalating. In the halls of government dominated by white men laws preventing a women from controlling her body are passed. In the streets of states women already struggling with low wages, excessive cost of day care, and health care out of reach; must be warriors to survive.
