Printings of oak leaves in this particular artwork I have successfully printed from second attempt and I have not expected such a wonderful effect. Unsuccessful fabric was dyed once again by wrapping it on rusty metal tube by using leaves that were collected in the late autumn from the ground.
When I wrapped it out and saw those autumn oak leaves, in front of my eyes was standing the oldest Lithuanian oak Stelmuze (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stelmu%C5%BE%C4%97_Oak).
This quilt was made from fabrics that were dyed by various plants. The tiny stripes were sewed together for showing natural tree barks.
