Twisted

I enjoy working with strips of fabric; this quilt is my interpretation of strip piecing. The piece explores movement, showcasing fabric in an unexpected way along with using what is not inherent, what is not tangible. Utilizing the voids or open areas and shadows that are a product of the construction and inherent light in the area.

I also make use of items you would not commonly associate with a quilt and find many of my embellishments at the hardware store.
