Turbulent Times (diptych)

Turbulent Times grew from two whole cloth monoprints that were layered, recombined, pieced, and quilted into the two parts of this stacked diptych. The horizontal divisions suggest under and above (water) worlds. Much was lurking in our lives when the “normal” got stirred up by an invisible virus. The abstract dark marks and sweeping gestures evoke the ominous and omnipresent peril.
