Shibori's organic patterns led me to creating Truro, my first true landscape quilt, as I followed a friend's advice to quit cutting my shibori up into little pieces. It captures a special moment, a fragile landscape and summer memories of sky, water, beach grass, boardwalk, sand and shells. It was, and continues to be, exciting to combine and add to the centuries old traditions of shibori and quiltingEast & West.
