TRANCE

Although we speak of black and white as colors, they are not classically defined that way because they do not have specific wavelengths, which is how our eyes perceive color.

White contains all wavelengths of visible light. Black, on the other hand, is the absence of visible light. When these two opposites are used together they can create the most graphic and compelling compositions. In TRANCE, I have layered black and white patterning with the hope of creating a composition that visually vibrates for the human eye.
