Tower

This quilt is about love of towers, from the one I played in as a child on the edge of a marsh in Ipswich, Massachusetts, to W. B. Yeats's Thoor Ballylee, which I have explored only through his poems. Billy Byrne's dream from "Under the Round Tower" is part of the quilting. From either tower one can look inward upon oneself, or outward toward the horizon, or both at once.
