Summer Journey #2

My Summer Journey series explores the interplay and tension between foreground and background, color and value, and the contrast between them. The abstract composition combines organically cut curved fragments with bold black and white accents. It reflects my personal journey as an artist; a journey of exploration and experimentation. The organically curved elements express adaptability and resilience, and the black and white reflect the ongoing contrast of uncertainty and clarity, fear and hope, dark and light that accompany me on my journey.
