Sticks and Stones

River-worn stones and pieces of driftwood tumbled together creating layers of light and shadow. Memories of a day spent on the shores of Loch Ness and moments captured that will change in the blink of an eye.

I like creating pieces like this because of the texture and the different ways to view the piece. Close up you can appreciate the tapestry of buttons and beads. The further away you get from the piece, the more dimensional it becomes.
