Sprouts

Sprouts is an organic piece that grew out of the fabrics it is made from. I didn't have a composition in mind when I started. I picked the fabrics and then started making some pieced segments, this was the starting point. This was followed by using my love of nature as an inspiration. I have an affinity for leaf forms and that is where the piece grew literally and figuratively.
