Sowing the Garden

The artist explores plants and gardens: the inner secret garden, artists’ gardens, public gardens, national parks as gardens and gardens of the imagination. Fragility of both the environment and the human condition is reflected in the medium. In the gardening gloves series, gloves underline the care required to look after our gardens. Insects, in particular butterflies and moths, are an integrated part of the garden and are necessary to their survival.
