Ski Racer

I was in high school when I made this quilt, my very first. I learned sewing skills from my mom. She was a creative, "outside the box" person, which is probably why it never occurred to me that it might be easier to start with a small, traditional quilt pattern! My high school sweetheart was a ski racer and my intention was to give him this quilt, which I never did.
